PERSONALITY
Andrew (or AJ), as a child, was reserved and kept to himself because the other kids somehow did not like him either because of how different he looked from everyone else or because of his thick accent. He became freer and expressed himself more as he grew up, becoming a fairly outgoing and friendly individual, and a proud Lominsan. He can count the number of friends he has with one hand and he is loyal to them to the end. He hates seeing them down and distressed and will try his best to make sure they're alright and well. As a consequence of his childhood, he has quite become difficult to truly anger and annoy, and he will try to see things in a positive light.As of late, however, he has become more cautious of who he lets in. This is because of past events that have taken place where someone he deeply cared about betrayed him. However, his core values remain the same. Due to this betrayal, he once again prefers to go by A J.

Cameron James Parker
Cameron (or CJ) was a friend that AJ made while they were teenagers. Understanding the struggles that AJ was going through while he was growing up, he and CJ were quite inseparable. However, a family situation with CJ forced his family to move to the east. While they promised to write letters to each other, they somehow never reached each other and AJ was discouraged. From this point on, AJ stopped introducing himself with this name.

Soga Tachikake
Andrew met Soga during a fairly tumultuous time for him. Despite being a quiet Doman, Andrew was able to get through to the shinobi and after spending quite a number of days in each others' company, they began a relationship. It would be because of Soga that Andrew began on a journey of becoming a pugilist, and later a martial artist, as he felt that he needed to know something to protect Soga in return. However, it was not meant to be. While wanting to support Soga with his family struggles, Soga made the difficult decision to stay with his family in Doma and their relationship mutually ended.

Nabeshin Torazawa
During the time that Andrew assisted Soga to Doma and help him deal with his family issues, he was introduced to a martial arts master named Torazawa no Nabeshin. He and Andrew became close as a teacher and student, and Andrew was probably one of the best students he's had. Andrew remained with Nabeshin for a few months before he decided to return to Eorzea, urging him to keep practicing and to never falter to misery.

Lyo Estheren
When Andrew returned to Eorzea after leaving Soga behind, he met Lyo and found his personality refreshing if a bit unsettling at times. However, they became fond of each others' company and soon began to give a relationship a try. It would not last, however, as they both found themselves very busy. They'd break off the relationship mutually but are still on amicable terms.

Giles Leigh
Around the same time Andrew met Lyo, he also met Giles during a public event. At first, he and Giles would get off on the wrong foot only because Giles was threatening harm. That did not go well with Andrew. Later, however, Andrew and Giles would start over and found that they had a few things in common, and would even flirt with one another. He has not seen Giles for quite a long time and wonders how he has been doing.

Frostulf Asmund
A stranger once came to visit The Shepard Forge and Andrew and his father Gabriel immediately caught this man's attention, never having seen a Hrothgar in their life. He had a proposal, seeing potential in both Gabriel and his son Andrew. After taking a trip to Thavnair and meeting with Frostulf, Gabriel learned how to forge gunblades and Andrew learned how to wield and use them. Andrew found his gunbreaker master to be a breath of fresh air despite his difficult training regimen.

Iskandar Reza
A few weeks after AJ experienced betrayal, he'd meet Iska by chance. They'd discover that they have quite a few things in common, and they'd later share their troubles with one another. He was a bit surprised and shocked that Iska and Giles had a history together, and that they had mutual friends. Despite their situation and how it has affected them, A J considers him a good friend.
